Local flavor,
real influence,
no DM chaos.

TidBit connects independent restaurants with vetted local food creators for in-store campaigns: QR check-ins, verified Instagram Stories, and honest tracking. No agencies. No DM chaos.

The honest part

Restaurant marketing is broken for the people we love most.

Independent operators are stuck choosing between expensive agencies, sponsored posts that nobody trusts, and Instagram DMs that lead nowhere. We built TidBit to fix exactly that.

i.

Agencies cost what a sous-chef costs.

$3–8K a month for a generic content drop that reaches feeds, not seats. Most of the spend never lands in your dining room.

ii.

DMs are a part-time job.

You're a chef, not a casting director. Cold-DMing 50 creators to land 3 mentions isn't a marketing strategy. It's a tax on your evenings.

iii.

There is no proof of return.

Did anyone actually post? Did anyone actually show up? Today, you're piecing it together from screenshots and POS receipts. That isn't tracking.

The flow

From empty seat to verified Story, in three moves.

One platform, two roles. Restaurants list a deal, creators claim it and post, and TidBit checks the Story for you.

Step one
DEAL

List a deal worth claiming.

Pick a dish, a tasting, or a Tuesday-night happy hour. Set how many creators can claim it and what their post needs to include. Live in two minutes.

Step two
Check-inHoneysuckle
Provisions

Creators walk in, scan the QR.

A real visit triggers the deal. Your host scans, the kitchen knows the comp is on TidBit, and the creator's window to post starts ticking. No paperwork.

Step three
@sahiti.eats

Story posts. We verify. You see proof.

TidBit watches Instagram for the tag and link. The second the Story goes up, both sides get credited and reach lands on your dashboard.

Built for two sides

One platform. Two perspectives.

See it from both sides: the restaurant dashboard and the creator app run on the same campaigns.

Operator view

Run a campaign like you run a busy service: tight, measurable, accountable.

Publish in minutes, cap your spots, and watch real foot traffic land on a clean dashboard. Every redemption is a person who showed up, ordered, and posted.

  • Deal builder. Pick the dish, set the rules, cap how many can claim it.
  • Creator roster. See who claimed your deal before they walk in the door.
  • Reach and return. Confirmed views, how many showed up, and what each visit cost you.
  • Clean records. Save any campaign as a tidy PDF for your books.

The TidBit difference

Stories get checked for you. You stop chasing screenshots.

Tracking down proof is the worst part of working with creators, so we took it off your plate. TidBit watches for the Story, confirms it went up, and logs the reach for both sides.

Honest answers

Questions you'd ask at the bar.

How are creators vetted?
Every creator applies, and we review their feed in person, looking for real local taste, genuine engagement, and food-first content. We're not chasing follower counts; we're chasing the people whose recommendations your guests already trust.
What counts as a “verified” Story?
A public Instagram Story posted within 24 hours of check-in that tags your restaurant's handle and includes the campaign hashtag. TidBit pings Instagram every 15 minutes, snapshots the Story, and logs the view count to your dashboard.
What if a creator doesn't post?
If the 24-hour window closes without a verified Story, the deal is voided automatically. The creator's claim rate drops, and a third skipped post pauses their account. You only pay the flat subscription, never per post, so a no-show costs you nothing.
Is this just for Philly?
For now, yes. We are building one neighborhood at a time on purpose. Brooklyn, Boston, and DC are on the roadmap for 2026. Restaurants outside Philly can join the waitlist and we'll come to you next.
How is this different from a regular influencer agency?
Three ways: (1) flat monthly subscription, no per-post markup; (2) every campaign is tied to a real in-store visit, not a feed post; (3) verification is automated, so you get proof instead of promises.
